How I work

How I work

When you contact me to discuss your project, I will email you to confirm that I've understood exactly what you want. I'll then provide a project brief and quote based on that understanding. As soon as it's signed off your end, we're ready to go.

I quote on a project basis, calculating the number of hours I expect to spend on each part of the project.

I work fast and I never bill for hours I haven't done, so many of my clients find that paying me on an hourly rate basis works for them. I'm happy to discuss the appropriate hourly rate for your work.

My payment terms are 14 days. For a long-running project I will invoice in stages, on the completion of agreed targets.

I offer up to 50% discount on my usual hourly / day rate to charities and non-profit organisations – if that's you, please contact me for more information.

I also offer a 50% discount to postgraduate students for editing MA and PhD theses. I work with all of the referencing styles in common use, including MLA, MHRA and APA referencing. Please contact me to discuss your thesis project and I'll be happy to provide you with a quote.

If you would like to know more, please contact me and I'll be happy to talk it through with you.
